Copper Cupola Installation Instructions
1.        Mount pre-finished steel base hard against roof deck.  At this time, outline base and
cut hole in roof deck, if ventilation is required.  Level from corner to corner with a four foot
level.  Fasten steel base through flaps to roof deck with provided 1 1/4" deck screws.

2.        Install all base flashings tight against the steel base.  Make sure that corner flashings
are vertical and tight or copper skirt will not fit properly.  You may roof in base at this time.

3.        Set copper base skirt over steel base and flashings.

4.        Set copper base top over base skirt.

5.        Set louvered mid-section on top of base.  Align louvered section's corners over the
black tabs found on base top.  Handle louvered mid-section at corners, not at center of
louvers or face plates, copper will bend easily.

6.        Secure louvered mid-section to base, with eight #10 1" stainless screws, through the
black tabs and into base.  (stainless screws provided)

7.        Mount copper cupola cap on louvered mid-section, and drill for rivets at corners on at
least two sides. (using 1/8" bit provided)

8.        Rivet the cap to the mid-section with the copper rivets that were provided.

PROVIDED MOUNTING ACCESSORIES:

(10) 1 1/4" deck screws

(10) #10 x 1" stainless self-drilling screws

(1) 1/8" drill bit

(8) 1/8" copper rivets

(10) 1 1/4" copper nails


TOOLS REQUIRED:

Roofing/shingle tools

#2 phillips driver

5/16" hex head driver

cordless drill

rivet gun

four foot level
